Building Material Prices Decline

=When the price of staple foods soar not the case with building materials. Material prices even decreased.
Almost in all groups of buildings or construction has decreased. On average, the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) in buildings decreased by 0.1 percent from the previous month.
Data Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded, IPHB building materials in July and then only 190.84, down 0.1 percent from 191.04 in June. The decline is already happening since last May, at which time, IPHB building materials to reach 191.10.
“This indicates, the price of building materials are becoming less expensive,” said Rusman Heriawan, BPS chief economic development at the news conference,
Decrease time this happens in all groups of buildings. For the group of residential buildings and non residential fell 0.1 percent to 185.44. Then, groups of buildings for public works pertaninan fell 0.05 percent to 201.17, a group of public works for roads, bridges and ports fell 0.15% to 198.62.
Smallest decline occurred in the group of buildings and installation of electricity, gas, water, and communication, the only down 0.02 percent to 181.55. Medium group of other buildings, down 0.07 percent to 191.48.
